Krum started in 1886 as a town site the Santa Fe railroad laid out on farmland, and by 1900 it was shipping so much wheat that it billed itself as the largest inland grain market in the world. It's about 5.8 miles northwest of Denton, one of the closest towns to our base, and Damon covers all of Krum.

Remodeling materials are left out of Krum's monthly bulk service, and drywall, flooring and cabinets are fine with us.

City bulk items can't be bigger than 3' x 3' x 4'; if your sectional or armoire is, we carry it out.
- Appliance Removal
Fridges, freezers and AC units need a freon-removal tag for the curb; we take them as they are.

Can the city take it?
Frontier Waste Solutions, the city's contractor, collects bulky household items and bundled brush once a month on the second Saturday.
The limits:
- 5 cubic yards of bulk and brush a month, combined
- Each item no larger than 3' x 3' x 4' and light enough for two people to load
- No remodeling materials, and no limbs over 4 inches across or 50 lb
- Items have to be at the curb

Yes. Logs and cut stumps are on our yard debris list, even though Krum's monthly pickup stops at limbs 4 inches across.
