Junk Removal in Highland Village, TX

Highland Village is bordered on the north by Lake Lewisville, and the city notes that many of its homes are lakefront or have a lake view. It's also known for its parks and the Inland Trail, a 9.83-mile multi-use network that connects nearly every part of town, plus city events like Celebrate Highland Village and Christmas at the Ranch. We're about 10 miles southeast of Denton here, and Damon Ortega, a full-time firefighter/paramedic and Marine Corps veteran, handles Highland Village jobs from our Denton base.

What we haul in Highland Village

  • Garage Cleanouts

City bulk stops at three cubic yards a pickup; a packed garage usually runs past that, so we clear it in one visit.

  • Construction Debris Removal

Remodeling debris, bricks and concrete are off the city's bulk list. We take drywall, tile, flooring and cabinets (just not concrete).

  • Hot Tub Removal

A backyard spa won't fit a three-yard pickup. Once an electrician and a plumber disconnect it, we break it down and haul it.

  • Property Cleanouts

Estate cleanouts for families and executors, sorted so usable things reach local charities.

  • Appliance Removal

The city needs a refrigerant-removal tag on fridges and freezers before it'll take them. We don't ask for one.

What customers say

We used Damon to help us load some heavy furniture into our POD for moving. He so hauled away our junk. He did an incredibly excellent job. Very professional, on time, worked quickly and didn’t scratch or break anything. I would highly recommend him

Was very quick to respond. Flexible on when he can get out to the house. Very affordable worked on our budget. Overall great service, and veteran/ firefighter owned cant go wrong with that.

John C. (Google review)

Damon was excellent! Highly recommend—he was very responsive, kept me informed throughout the process, and offered fair pricing. I’ll definitely use him again in the future for any haul-off needs.

Can the city take it?

Republic Services picks up furniture, appliances, bundled carpet, fence panels and up to ten extra trash bags on your regular weekly service day.

The limits:

  • Up to three cubic yards per pickup
  • Refrigerators and freezers need a tag certifying the refrigerant was removed
  • No remodeling debris, bricks, concrete, tires or batteries
  • Items have to be at the curb by 7 a.m., at least three feet from your trash cart

That's where we come in.

We carry it out from wherever it is, on a day that works for you, priced by how much of the truck it fills.

Highland Village junk removal questions

Is Highland Village in your regular area?

Yes. It's in Denton County, about 10 miles southeast of our base in Denton. Text a few photos and we'll send a rough quote.

We're clearing out a parent's house. Can you help?

Yes. We do estate cleanouts for families and executors, garage and yard included. We sort as we go, so usable items go to local charities instead of the landfill.

Can you take old fence panels after a replacement?

Yes, and they don't need to be cut to size. The one thing we can't take is concrete from the post footings.

When do I pay?

After the job is done to your satisfaction. We take major credit cards, digital payments, cash and check.

Do you offer a first responder or military discount?

Yes. There's a standing discount for active and retired Fire/EMS, law enforcement and military. Mention it when you book and it's applied to your quote.

Standing discount for active and retired Fire/EMS, law enforcement and military. Mention it when you book.

10/10 recommend. We had what felt like an entire forest worth of logs sitting on the side of our rental house, and they had it gone way faster than I expected.
