Can the city take it?
Waste Connections, under contract with the city, collects household and bulk waste set at the curb on Thursdays.
The limits:
- Up to three cubic yards on service day
- Call Waste Connections ahead to schedule a bulk pickup
- Nothing containing Freon, plus no tires, batteries, propane tanks or electronics
- Items have to be at the curb by 7 a.m. Thursday

Yes. Refrigerators and freezers go to recycling, where the refrigerant is recovered before the metal is scrapped.
